These professionals assist cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart problems and ailments. Training is provided in ECG, Echo, 24-hour ambulatory ECG monitoring, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring (Ambulatory BP), treadmill, cardiac catheterization laboratory and electro physiology. They are part of the healthcare team in diagnosing and treating cardio vascular diseases.
Candidates belonging to all categories for admission should have passed the qualifying examinations after period of 12 years of study with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology with minimum 35% marks in each subjects (Academic / Vocational Stream).
The lateral entry is applicable for all the UG Degree Course wherever corresponding Diploma Course is available in the concerned specialty. The duration of one year Internship applicable for all the Lateral Entry Candidates.
